Local attractions in Cornwall

Kynance Cove

Kynance Cove is a very special and unique place to the Lizard Point, the most southerly point of Britain. Kynance Cove is probably the most painted and photographed place in Cornwall.

This beauty spot has been immortalised as the perfect cove by romantic poets and painters since the eighteenth century, due to the brilliant turquoise water and white sands, with islands, caves and unexpected views which are still a powerful draw today, as are rocks of green and red serpentine, polished by the sea over thousands of years and unique to the Lizard Peninsula.

Bonython Gardens

"Situated on England’s southernmost Lizard Peninsular, Bonython Estate Gardens offer excitement and surprises, with colour and interest in all seasons.

Remodeled in recent years, to include, a contemporary water feature behind the delightful Georgian Manor, an eighteenth century Walled Garden with colour- themed herbaceous borders, a Traditional Potager Garden, and an orchard of Cornish variety apple trees, on through parkland to a series of small lakes in a sheltered valley."

Roskilly's Ice Cream

"All our tasty ice creams, fudge and yoghurts are made using rich organic Jersey milk and cream and taste both indulgent and delicious. The milk comes from the 94 strong herd of Jersey cows which graze on pastures that have been farmed in a traditional and sustainable way for generations. "

Flambards theme park

"The Flambards Experience is one of the most popular tourist attractions in the South West of England. With unique undercover exhibitions boasting the Flambards Victorian Village, Britain in The Blitz and Memory Lane exhibitions."

Gweek Seal Sanctuary

"Welcome to the National Seal Sanctuary, set in the picturesque Helford Estuary, by the beautiful village of Gweek in Cornwall. We are a Rescue, Rehabilitation, and Release centre for seals, and most seasons we rescue over 40 pups."
